  Bridle Leather Wallets $85.00The "English" Bridle leather used for these wallets is tanned in the U.S.A. I'm using it to make some of the same styles as the calfskin wallets. This Bridle Leather makes a more firm wallet than the Calfskin Leather. The light color is a little darker or lighter than the way it came out in the pictures depending on the batch I have in stock. Other bridle leather colors are shown on the Bridle Leather Belt page.I expect these wallets to break in with a more leathery look and to darken more with use. Since this is a new offering... you will have to let me know about that in a few years. When I handle it, it makes that noise you hear when stepping into the saddle, that leather against leather noise. Wallets #1, #2, #3, measure 3-5/8" X 8-3/4" when open. The Bridle Leather wallet below is a two year old wallet belonging to a man who works as a rigger moving heavy equipment. It was originally light brown. I don't know what he has in there that makes the lumps. By Henry Hibbard |
